The Calendar Years was birthed when I was Worship Director at Forefront Church in Brooklyn NY. I had never encountered liturgy until I took this job & quickly fell in love with the rhythm of the church calendar. We began as a community to curate & create resources to make this cycle our very own, reworking hymns & responding to centuries old texts to bring them into our modern urban church family.
